Positive Displacement Blowers

Robuschi offers both types of positive displacement blowers. The rotary lobe (capacity up to 25,000 m³/h) and the screw (capacity up to 10.100 m³/h) meet the various needs of customers and their wide range of applications.

The rotary lobe blower accommodates the renowned RBS air. This rotary lobe blower provides an excellent solution for oil-free conveyance of air and natural gases. It is equipped with a low-pulse system that reduces the residual pressure pulsation of the conveyed gas below 2% of the operating pressure.

The screw blower range uses the CDL and RSW patented airends (depending on sizes).
Robuschi positive displacement blower range offers a sturdy design for continuous duty and robust operation. It also delivers long service life and efficient performance.

Rotary Lobe Blowers

The Robuschi Rotary Lobe Blowers offer a versatile solution for various industrial applications. They provide a wide range of models, sizes, options, and configurations to meet specific customer needs. These blowers can achieve pressures up to 1,000 mbar(g), handle vacuum duties down to 100 mbar(a), and deliver a maximum airflow of 25,000 m³/h.

Screw Blowers

The Robuschi screw blower range offers a comprehensive selection of screw blowers, including the Robox Screw and Robox Energy series, known for their innovation, efficiency, and cutting-edge design.

The Robox Screw blower utilizes the advanced CDL airend, featuring patented 3×5 profile rotors with wide-diameter shafts. This design minimizes deformation from internal and external loads, ensuring optimal performance even in challenging conditions. It boasts reduced noise levels, a compact footprint (saving up to 11% space), 20% increased airflow, energy efficiency, easy installation, and accessible service and maintenance.

On the other hand, Robox Energy incorporates the unique RSW “core” (patent) with an innovative motor featuring permanent magnets and an integrated electrical panel. This configuration offers maximum efficiency, compactness, easy maintenance, and flexibility to meet the needs of wastewater treatment plants.

The Robox Screw Blower Unit

The Robox Screw blower unit, designed for pressures up to 1,000 mbar(g), introduces an innovative approach by allowing the installation of either a lobe or a screw airend within the Robox enclosure. This design required a complete package redesign and represents a significant advancement. The Robox Screw can achieve pressures up to 1,000 mbar(g) and vacuum levels up to 300 mbar(a), offering a maximum capacity of 10,100 m³/h. It features a unique design, a compact footprint, low noise levels, easy installation, and provides convenient access for servicing and maintenance across the entire range.

Turbo Blowers

The innovative Robuschi blower range utilizes centrifugal high-speed turbo technology to enhance aeration processes. The importance of energy efficiency in wastewater treatment is emphasized, with aeration blowers accounting for a significant portion of energy consumption in such facilities. Turbo blowers like the Robuschi Robox Turbo can greatly improve energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and lower the total cost of ownership.

The Robox Turbo Blower Unit

The Robuschi Robox Turbo blower unit is capable of delivering pressures up to 1,500 mbar(g) and airflow rates of up to 26,500 m³/h. In certain applications, such as wastewater treatment plants, energy costs can represent a substantial portion, often up to 75%, of the facility’s overall operational expenditure. Among these, aeration systems are the largest consumers of energy, accounting for over 60% of total electricity expenses.

Introducing the Robuschi Robox Turbo series of blowers, designed to address these concerns by not only reducing carbon emissions but also significantly lowering lifecycle costs. The Robuschi Robox Turbo blowers feature an innovative design, incorporating durable air foil bearings. This results in a best-in-class footprint, reduced noise levels, plug-and-play compatibility, cost-effectiveness, and straightforward maintenance across the entire range.

Side Channel Blowers

Robuschi introduces the latest addition to its blower family, the Robox Side Channel Blowers, catering specifically to Water and Wastewater Treatment (WWT) applications. These side channel blowers complement the existing blower options, which include lobe, screw, multistage, high-speed turbo, and side channel blowers.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of WWT customers, these blowers serve applications with intermittent air demand, such as sand filter backwashing, as well as constant flow requirements for secondary treatment. They provide a reliable solution in cases with limited installation space and low maintenance requirements.

Robox Side Channel Blowers boast a rugged design that ensures virtually maintenance-free operation for up to 20,000 hours, offering minimal downtime. With a flow capacity of up to 700 m³/h and a maximum differential pressure of 600 mbar, these blowers provide efficient and dependable performance for WWT processes.

Oil Free for No-Contamination: The Robox Side Channel is completely oil-free to meet the most rigorous of environmental standards with reduced risk of contamination.
Direct Coupling: The Impeller is directly mounted on the electric motor shaft. Resulting in less vibration and reduced noise levels, direct coupling can increase efficiency over the entire operating life of the blower.
Fixed or Variable Speed: The Robox Side Channel operates at a fixed speed. In order to enhance the operating range, it can also be equipped with an integrated Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
Other Advantages: Robuschi Side Channel Blowers are available with different drive speed options. Adjustable speed is possible via external or integral Invertor.

Low-Pressure Screw Compressor

Robuschi’s Low-Pressure Screw Compressor range offers cutting-edge design and exceptional efficiency, capable of handling pressures up to 2,500 mbar(g) and an impressive maximum airflow of 9,400 m³/h. The Robox Screw package provides specific outlet ports with three different compression ratios, ensuring optimal energy consumption in various operating conditions. This compressor combines the strengths of the trusted PD blower range with innovative components and features the advanced “RSW” airend, setting a new standard in compressor technology.
