Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator

✅Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

About the Role

As our Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, making sure that the right products, parts, and materials are exactly where they need to be when they need to be there.

This is a role for someone who loves variety, thrives on organisation, and enjoys taking real ownership. You’ll manage the full flow of goods through the business, from receiving deliveries and maintaining stock accuracy, to preparing customer orders and coordinating shipments across the UK and internationally. You’ll also play a key role in supporting our service department, ensuring engineers have the parts and equipment they need to deliver first class service.

Working from our brand-new, purpose-built premises in Hertford, you’ll take responsibility for a warehouse that is central to our growth. You’ll be the go-to person for stock, logistics, and the daily running of the warehouse keeping everything running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out hands on warehouse tasks including, packing, wrapping, lifting, and dispatch preparation
• Loading/unloading deliveries and ensuring stock is safely and efficiently stored
• Managing stock accuracy booking in goods, rotating stock, maintaining correct levels across key product ranges
• Monitoring and replenishing core inventory to prevent shortages and reduce obsolete stock
• Coordinating stock for the service/workshop team, allocating parts for jobs, and maintaining correct inventory
• Conducting regular stock counts and investigating discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

What We’re Looking For

Customer Logistics & Communication

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, operations, or a similar hands on storeman style role.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and general admin systems. Comfortable with manual handling and physically active duties.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when speaking with customers.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload. Proactive, reliable, and confident taking ownership of key responsibilities.
• Detail-focused with strong problem-solving skills. A positive “can-do” attitude and willingness to support the team.

Shipping & Documentation

• Managing UK and international shipments, preparing goods, labels, and export/dispatch documentation
• Working with couriers, freight partners, and relevant authorities (e.g., Chamber of Commerce)
• Ensuring all documentation and processes align with ISO9001 standards

Cross-Department Coordination

• Supporting the service team by preparing and issuing engineer job stock
• Monitoring order due dates and ensuring deadlines are met across departments
• Updating CRM and internal systems with accurate, real-time information
